The Surat District Co Operative Bank Ltd was founded on 17th June 1909 in Surat with the efforts of Late Shri K.G.Desai and Late Shri B.A.Modi. Initially, this bank was known as “The Surat District Co.op.(Urban) union Ltd”. In 1921, this bank commenced its full-fledged banking activities in various aspects.
